It can be hard choosing the right headers for your car! I feel that quality, fitment, and performance are the major components that make a good header. Personally I chose kooks headers for my ride and set up a custom true duals in back of it. I didn't want to mess with the y pipe, which can be a pain. Oh yeah, I own a 2002 Trans Am WS.6 by the way. The engine in it is a 4.6 LS1. Well the fitment was tight, but overall it went good. I paid around $900 for these headers, that's quite the penny if you ask me. Was it well worth it? I believe so, I've heard of so many people going down the wrong road by choosing a cheaper header. Have to remember though, just because Kooks was good for my car doesn't mean it will be good for your car. Do research, check out different forums and see what the most popular headers people are running in your type of cars. Another thing is you might want to make sure that the headers you are about to buy are stainless steel. Because if you don't they can end up rusting and coroding, which isn't good in the long run! Yeah, you can always ceramic coat them, but that doesn't work out in the long run. Metal heats up and expands which can make that ceramic stuff fall of and detiorate in a few years. So for the long run, save up your money and buy a good pair of headers. And make sure you do your homework!
