 Speed Inc has long been known for its custom grind LS1 cams helping to power some of the fastest Gen III/IVs around the country. Now Trailblazer SS owners can draw upon this extensive knowledge base with Speed Inc's new custom designed cam. Unlike grinds designed for lighter, higher revving platforms, the Trailblazer SS grind is created to maintain great drivability and use of the stock torque converter. Tuning is required, however; with the addition of Stainless Works long-tube headers (and this cam) gains of as much as 54 rwhp and 47 ft-lbs of torque (at peak) have been seen on 2WD SSs. Best of all, even more substantial gains can be had in the lower rpm range--73 ft-lbs at 4,800 rpm and 64 rwhp at 5,400 rpm! Speed Inc, Dept.
